Cereals are an important component of nutrition of a first-year infant that permit to vary diets, correct the levels of vital trace elements and vitamins, meet increasing requirements of a child in basic nutrients. A wide spectrum of processed cereals permits a pediatrician to select adequate additional feeding for children with regard to their individual development, state of health, and presence of various pathologies.
