Specific features of treatment of chronic cystitis in children

The article presents data about a complex treatment of 105 girls aged from 5 to 16 years old, who suffered chronic recurrent cystitis. Detection of intranuclear inclusions by electron microscopy of bioptates of the bladder mucosa, and also the findings of a virological examination permitted to suspect the involvement of the Herpesviridae family in chronicization of granular cystitis in children. Instillations using the sorbent Enterosgelum not only reduce concentrations of locally administered antibiotics and antiseptics but also lead to faster elimination of leukocyturia.
